The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial support to Pine Chemical’s finance director, by ensuring best-in-class financial processes and financial reporting is provided to key internal and external stakeholders; driving Kraton’s ability to report reliable, timely and accurate information about the business; and partnering with identified stakeholders by providing steering information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of monthly forecasts, quarterly board decks and annual budgets.
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted results via statements, tables or visual graphs.  
  • Assist Pine Chemical Director, Corporate Finance in management of corporate financial forecasting model.
  • Key contributor for preparation of quarterly Board of Director presentations.
  • Key contributor for preparation of quarterly and annual public filings.  
  • Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.   

Required Skills

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting required.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices. 
  • Excellent analytics, detailed oriented and ability to challenge by seeing the broader picture. 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
  • SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
  • Experience with BPC a plus. 
  • Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience is preferred.  
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful steering information for internal clients.
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in the English language.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
  • Chemical industry, pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience required.
