We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Operations team as a key member of our joint venture site (KPFC) in Mailiao, Taiwan.
As a key Operations team member, you will undergo a comprehensive six-month training program at our state-of-the-art polymer manufacturing facility in Belpre, Ohio, United States. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry and gain valuable hands-on experience in polymer manufacturing processes and operations.
Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be assigned to our joint venture site in Mailiao, Taiwan, for approximately three years. This assignment presents a unique global opportunity that offers high visibility within our organization and the potential for accelerated career growth.
Note: This position qualifies for a relocation package.

Key Responsibilities
- Member of the KFPC leadership team. Manages and leads process technology, control engineers and Lab QA team.
- Provide Technical Assurance Leadership to key PSM work processes (MOC, PHA, safety instrumented systems, process safety information management)
- Technology focal point for communications between the KFPC JV and Kraton.
- Maintains regular interaction with Kraton RTS and Quality organizations to collect customer feedback on products produced in KFPC. Support and interact with Kraton on Test Runs
- Own site capital and investment plans.
- Support the ML1D expansion project, and integration of new products to Mailiao.
- Leads team in key troubleshooting opportunities. Seeks opportunities to improve cost, reliability, and quality through collaboration with other managers and experts.
Required Skills
- Experience in leading, managing and developing team members with diverse cultural background.
- Ability to make quick decision and provide clear direction with calculated risk.
- Effective Communications Skills (verbally, written, presentation.)
- Collaborates effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of good chemical engineering practices including basic process automation and PSM.
- Knowledge of quality management system such as ISO-9001, GMP etc.
- Knowledge of good process safety practices including experience in Safety Integrated Loops (SIL).
- Must have 5+ years of experience in engineering and related fields.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related field of study from an accredited college/university.
