Key Responsibilities

  • Support or lead manufacturing test runs and troubleshooting of processes.
  • Develop and assess manufacturing processes for new product development projects.
  • Interpret and evaluate third-party process technologies and build intellectual property.
  • Guide the design of and modifications to experiments and carry out as required by the projects.
  • Contribute to the formulation of research work and improvement of existing processes/products.
  • Participate in the definition of own development needs in technical expertise, business, and personal skills.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant R&D or operations experience – Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to scale from laboratory, pilot-scale, and commercial-scale equipment.
  • Ability to direct/refine a research study by advancing new ideas and views.
  • Ability to document, report, and present work in written forms.
  • Working knowledge of chromatography, FTIR, UV/Vis, NMR, and other analytical tools.
  • Practical application of fundamental concepts and practices relevant to an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to work closely with internal/external customers and establish strong relationships to drive projects.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • PhD or MSc + 2 yrs. relevant experience or BSc + 4 yrs.  relevant experience in Engineering
  • 3+ years relevant experience
