The HR Coordinator acts as the initial point of contact for general HR questions and is responsible for Recruitment activities, Learning & Development initiatives, Payroll input and supports regional HR communication for the assigned countries. This person is an autonomous self-starter that acts as a liaison at all levels of the organization as support for the Global HR organization and the regional leadership. 

Key Responsibilities


Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Recruiting activities, i.e. posting open positions, sourcing candidates, collaborating with agencies, facilitating interviews and scheduling, assisting in developing offers and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide professional management support on several HR topics such as Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Corporate Communications, and community activities. 
  • Performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skills, and knowledge of organizational policies and practices.
  • Keep HRIS systems up to date and accurate for assigned areas, provide payroll input through the HRIS and T&A systems in line with local fiscal and labor legislation.
  • Prepare and distribute reports or other data analytics to support decision making or other business needs. 
  • SAP entry and reporting. 
  • Partner with employees, management and CSE to communicate and give guidance on various Human Resources topics, policies, procedures, CBA, laws, standards, and government regulations. Participate in CSE meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Lead or support HR related (improvement) projects.

Required Skills


  • Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar role in HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Effectively managing and transitioning between administrative and professional level support responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills, in both French and English 
  • Strong knowledge of French labor law and payroll rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and preferably in SAP 
  • Demonstrated competence to work with minimum supervision and effectively with all levels in the company
  • Professional demeanor in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with team members, local people leaders and employees.

Education, Certifications & Licenses


  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or labor law is required.
