Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator II manages the strategic raw material inventories, modal selection and distribution across the network. Works closely with plant supply chain and logistics procurement to improve strategic raw material and material logistics services while controlling logistics operating costs. Oversee regulatory guidelines with respect to shipping of materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Schedule all traffic/trucks to ensure proper shipments of dry freight and bulk goods to fulfill customer orders.
•Receive bulk/dry goods into plant.
•Create bills of lading, C of A’s, packing slips and other appropriate paperwork in SAP.
•Manage inventory and warehouse space to ensure optimal utilization and inventory movements to meet shipment requirements.
•Supervise Shipping/Receiving crew as needed.
•Plant liason for customer sample requests
•Work in close contact with planner/scheduler to make sure finished inventories are at levels to meet orders.

Required Skills

Minimum 3-5 years of successful related experience managing inventories and coordinating shipment of finished goods. Degree in Traffic/Distribution preferred but not required. Successful related experience may be substituted

Education, Certifications & Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in logistics/transportation, planning or relative experience.
