The Director Financial Reporting is responsible for the preparation of the Company's periodic SEC filings (10Qs and 10K) in accordance with the SEC's rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain adequate documentation and support for all amounts and statements made in our Periodic SEC filings.
  • Assist the Corporate Controller with drafting technical accounting memos supporting accounting conclusions.
  • Preparation of monthly internal financial results for distribution to senior management.  This includes preparation of monthly analysis of results and communication to key stakeholders.
  • Analytic support of the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement for monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Lead the Company's quarterly Disclosure Committee meetings and ensure timely completion of all financial certifications ahead of the "pre-certification" meeting held with the Company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). 
  • Preparation and tie-out of external presentations (e.g., lender decks, rating agency materials etc.).
  • Recommend, design, and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining system of internal controls, including leading the coordination of interim and annual control procedures.
  • Assistance with the due diligence of potential acquisitions, purchase accounting, and accounting for other acquisition-related activities.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.
Required Skills
  • 8-12 years of requisite experience with Security Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.
  • Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations.
  • Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
  • Preparation of management reports.
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience with SAP or another comparable ERP.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required
