The Marketing Communication Manager role is at the core of the marketing team: conceiving, creating and distributing relevant content in ways that are engaging and meaningful for key audiences and stakeholders. This position calls for someone who is passionate about communication across multiple channels, creative and technical writing, and audience engagement. The Marketing Communication Manager must think creatively and leverage relationships to develop scientific data and expertise into engaging content for website and other marketing channels for pine chemicals or chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and drive Marcom strategy for commercial segment incorporating PR, marketing, digital and multi-media, ensuring cohesion and continuity
  • Implement Marcom plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization
  • Develop relationships with key media to secure/grow media coverage both online and offline
  • Write press releases for local and national media
  • Develop the commercial strategy in line with company objectives
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Create and publicize all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns/launches
  • Manage campaigns effectiveness, measure results
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and identity
  • Prepare online and print marketing campaigns
  • Create a wide range of different marketing materials
  • Work closely with stakeholders and assist with new product launches
  • Own the responsibility for content and publishing for quarterly internal magazine - consistently finding new angles and generate topics that are compelling and highly engaging
  • Work with the global marketing team to conceive and create content for marketing materials (e.g. sales brochures, product launches, case studies, videos, website copy, marketing materials)
  • Take ownership for writing, editing and proofreading all communications materials
  • Implement and manage social media strategy to increase brand recognition.  Includes developing content for post
  • Special projects as required
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience writing (preferred technical content)
  • Highly creative with excellent writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Self-starter that can collaborate with team members
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Confident personality
  • Strong creative outlook
  • Software Skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Adobe CS
  • Past experience producing print and digital content
  • Experience with tradeshows
Education, Certifications & Licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree in, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field.
