The International Senior Tax Analyst is a dynamic position that supports the Tax group with various compliance and tax accounting projects that directly impacts shareholder value.  The role will consistently perform and take ownership of assigned projects under supervision.  The role will be part of team that strives to provide reliable and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares US federal international tax compliance including GILTI, FDII, BEATS, and Country by Country reporting within OIT and excel workpapers.
  • Review local country returns and prepare return to provision schedules
  • Prepares or reviews quarterly US GAAP for US international tax impacts and local country tax provision schedules including reconciliation of tax accounts (including deferreds, tax payables)
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation and calculations
  • Resolve tax notices and tax audits with various governmental agencies
  • Conduct tax technical research and analysis
  • Assist team in other functional areas as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of overall relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of US income taxation and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Proven track record of understanding and applying basic tax calculations, concepts, principles, practices, and standards in the performance of role evidence by the delivery of acceptable, completed staff work.
  • Strong reconciliation, analytical skills with the ability to develop new processes as needed.
  • Solid ability to resolve moderate to complex tax and other related issues and problems.
  • Keen recognition that failures or errors in judgment, work product, and decisions have significant impacts on the business.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to include written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be able to work under general to limited supervision and act independently in an experienced professional/subject matter expert (SME) capacity.
  • Possess the ability to effectively work independently and in an “open” team oriented environment.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study from an accredited college/university.
  • Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field of study from an accredited college/university preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
