The purpose of the IT Business Analyst role is to analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.  The focus for the IT Business Analyst - Reporting & Analytics will be to enhance the usage, as well as provide support and training, for business analytics at Kraton primarily utilizing Microsoft PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in enhancing the reporting and analytics capabilities within the organization.
  • Provide training and support for business analysts using front-end reporting and analytics tools.
  • Coordinates across business and technology teams in the development of reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Gathers data and analyzes business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users. 
  • Provides IT support for regulatory and compliance activities, as needed. 

Required Skills

  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Planned and developed multi-page front-end visualization capabilities
  • Familiarity with manufacturing business metrics/analytics
  • Knowledge of wireframing for UI/UX considerations in designing dashboards/reports
  • Experience training business users on tools/capabilities
  • Basic knowledge of DAX and data modeling highly preferred
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL databases and Power Query (M Language) highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and data analysis.
  • Effective team facilitation, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Meets assignment deadlines through effective organization skills, and priority and time management skills.
  • Able to drive projects from conception to implementation with exceptional follow-through and focus on completed staff work.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
