Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership over the responsible raw material spend segment. Analyze spend, define an action plan and in close collaboration determine the requirements of the internal customer. Increased level of ownership and responsibility associated with issuing purchase orders, negotiations, processes, and procedures.
• Define, evaluate, and implement the procurement strategy for direct materials supplies to support overarching Procurement goals. Identify suppliers to meet the requirements in terms of risk, cost, quality and delivery. Negotiate regional contracts and price lists.
• Maintain excellent communication, cooperation and teamwork among all stakeholders with the company.
• Responsible to adhere and promote the Procurement policies and procedures to remain compliant.
• Develop and/or execute sourcing strategies defined by Senior Raw Material Manager.
• Ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders (in time, in full, in spec) and follow up on complaints or missing products.
• Resource in troubleshooting complex matters and ensure that questions are resolved in a timely manner.
• Lead supplier performance evaluation and improvement.
• Actively manage suppliers regarding Sustainability initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and develop new employees.
• Participate in Procurement managerial meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in purchasing, supply chain, or commercial coordination
• Experience working in a team setting
• Negotiating Skills
• Communication Skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with SAP purchasing procedure

Education, Certifications & Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
