Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for effectively leading the plant functions/operations activities to meet performance objectives in annual budget, cost improvement, HSE, process safety, reliability, availability, productivity, quality, delivery, and regulatory compliance.   
  • Provides leadership and direction in establishing a safe and efficient operation in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Implements Plant strategies in alignment with Global Operations strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to achieve key objectives.
  • Drives continuous improvements/performance and achieves results through the development of employees.
  • Increase production, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards regarding:
    • Budgets
    • Capital
    • Headcount
    • Economic    
  • And other duties as assigned to safely perform.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 7 years in the manufacturing industry with Chemical engineering background (related industry experience should include chemical or other process manufacturing).
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources).
  • Proven managerial experience and strong team building, decision-making and people development/management skills.
  • English proficiency.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or science required.
